We were looking to build a shop with two separate mother in law units with a shared complete bathroom and a shared deck between the rooms. We of course got several quotes from other local builders to compare the overall cost but in the end only felt comfortable with Scott and his team based off the quality of the finished product we looked at. Many outfits claim to provide top notch work and as I visited other completed projects from the other guys, the Vets Group were clearly the only choice for us. porch.com We’ve had Veterans Contracters do a few remodeling/fixing jobs at our home in Corvallis. We had a leak in an upstairs shower, which caused damage to the downstairs ceiling. Scott was able to locate the leak and and fix/remodel the shower. They’ve helped us to remodel an ugly hallway closet into beautiful cabinet storage. Last year we began shopping around for a contractor to build a workshop for us but we had a few very specific designs in mind in addition to the shop space itself. 2 additional rooms needed to be built off the back for other projects with a full bathroom inside the shop, shower and all. We received quotes from several builders in the valley. We kept changing our minds on how best to accomplish getting exactly what we needed. I felt Scott and his crew were the only ones that were able to also see our vision on the design and talk us through how to proceed with the floor plan. Scott gave us multiple ways we could get this done without going over budget. We decided to use Veterans Contracting Group because we also got the chance to see their other completed projects and the quality of work was second to none. We had a very specific idea for a workshop with two small guest rooms at the south end and full bathroom inside main shop. I really wanted a space large enough for truck, tractor and work in addition. We received 3 quotes for a 30' x 60' shop on slab, large commercial garage door, opener and steel exterior and the above mentioned spaces. Vets Contracting Group of Montana and their quote came right in the middle of the others and all being very reasonable to begin with. We decided to go with Scott and Vets Group because he was able to allow my wife and I to customize and or change things without any issues as the work progressed. Since this was the first time we had ever had anything built we were unsure of specifics that would ultimately make this building even more amazing. Scott was extremely patient and clear walking us through the best and most cost efficient methods to work within our budget, yet was able to build something that would last a lifetime. As a veteran myself it was meaningful to hire Scott and his crew because I knew there would be great attention to detail behind everything they did. We were so happy with the shop, 6 months later we hired Vets Group to remodel our master bathroom and once again we could not have been happier.
